their gallery presents Iona Hutley “Essentia”: Friday 14 - 3 Sept
Iona Hutley’s work has just come off show at the Mall Galleries and will now be presented at Fulham’s their gallery located on 56 Dawes Road.
Hutley is classically trained but has more recently adjusted her focus towards abstraction. Beginning her education at the University of Brighton on the BA painting program, Hutley went on to finish the three year fine art painting program at the estemmed Florence Academy of Art.
The gallery owners told Urban Village LDN “What is at first glance a cocophany of colour and mark making soon becomes something else. As you observe and get closer, you begin to understand what each piece is trying to tell you; the depth of feeling, the good, the bad and the poetic mystery of what lies in between”. Gallery opening hours: Friday - Sunday and by appointment 12-7pm
If you didn’t read about this new gallery space “a bland space for collaboration, chance encounter and adaption” in a previous issue hit the link.
