Make Believe Fulham

Urban Village LDN was recently introduced to Megan Carton who is celebrating her first year as owner of the Make Believe Fulham franchise whilst the company celebrates it’s 20th anniversary.

Make Believe is a performing arts company where young people learn to sing, act and dance, whatever their level or ability. Megan, who is also a working actor, told us “I’m passionate about providing performing arts tuition at a reasonable price, making it affordable and accessible for all. I’m also on a mission to bring free singing, acting and dancing tuition to as many Fulham children and schools as possible”. This is all in Megan’s DNA as she grew up in Ireland where her Mother ran a performing arts school so it’s gone full circle with Megan becoming Principle of Make Believe Fulham.

Make Believe Fulham hold weekly classes for groups of children ages: 3-5, 6-9, 10-18 which means pupils can join and go all the way through the school as they grow up to become young adults; whilst making friends, having fun and learning skills for life. Teachers are industry professionals and two ex students are now teachers at the school, with children going on to perform in shows including Mrs Doubtfire and MJ which has just come to London. There is also an academy and agency connected to the school meaning pupils can earn UCAS points and take on professional work respectively. There are free trials available and if you’re interested in looking into classes for your child, discussing bringing performing arts workshops to your school, get in touch with Megan she would love to hear from you.
