A taste of Brazil
Great Taste Award winning Açaí has come to Fulham. AMA is a new açaí bar that recently launched at Fulham Pier serving authentic Brazilian açaí. Created by Brothers of Açai who supply restaurants, hotels and cafes, AMA is their first stand alone retail venture.
AMA are bringing the taste of the Amazon to Fulham Pier’s Riverside Market using açaí sourced directly from Brazil. At the heart of their menu is their award-winning açaí sorbet, made with 71.5% açaí: the highest açaí content available in the UK. It’s organic, non-GMO, vegan, dairy-free and gluten-free, with a smooth texture and is the only ever açai to have been awarded a Great Taste Award.
Head over to the Pier to enjoy their signature bowls, built up with fresh fruit and toppings, grab an Amazonian smoothie, protein shake or discover Brazilian favourites including pão de queijo and other treats.
You can also take AMA home as they stock açaí tubs available to pick up and put in your own freezer. AMA is open at Fulham Pier seven days a week so you can enjoy a healthy breakfast, some post-workout fuel or a riverside treat. Straight from the Amazon to Fulham!

Ove
We were sad to see Pappa Ciccia leave their Fulham High Street spot but of course they’re still thriving on Munster Road; an UVL HQ favourite go to! Rather than endlessly looking at another closed, empty spot (sadly happening way too often in our urban village), it was great to see Ove open their doors at 41 Fulham High Street last month.
Ove bill themselves as a relaxed and welcoming restaurant serving Mediterranean-inspired cuisine with Italian, Greek and Turkish influences: name choice making sense now? They’ve got you covered all day whether it’s coffee, breakfast, brunch, dinner or simply a glass of wine or a cocktail in the evening. Have you spotted the clock which now reads “cocktail o’ clock?”.
Ove told Urban Village LDN that they’re all about keeping things casual and welcoming. Looking at the interiors this new spot looks like a stylish setting for any occasion: a meal out with friends, family or a special celebration. Like all good food establishments Ove was born from a passion to share good food and create memorable dinning experiences. The chefs have blended the freshest ingredients with traditional Mediterranean recipes giving locals the choice of large plates featuring rich, bold flavours.
Breakfast includes a full English, pancakes, Turkish Menemem, Halloumi Toastie. For dinner pick from starters including Anatolian Lamb Kofta, Spinach and Feta filo pastries or a hot mezze platter. Mains include Chicken Shish, Rib Eye, Sea Bass with Chorizo and Butter beans and mixed grill: chicken skewers, lamb kofta, lamb chops, basque sausage served with Turkish rice, charred peppers and chilli dip. Raymond James Fulham
Urban Village LDN recently sat down with SW6 residents and wealth managers Dasha Plotnikova and Max Scholey from Raymond James, Fulham to find out more about the bespoke service they offer. Dasha told us “one of the main reasons we launched Raymond James, Fulham is that we believe all clients deserve the best service. For us, one of the key components is ensuring people have one port of call, one person to speak to about their financial situation and investments in plain English, instead of being passed around from team to team”.
Dasha and Max believe in building long term relationships so they can guide their clients through the years. Ensuring they can fund the lifestyle they want, support loved ones, navigate big life changes such as moving house, career breaks, divorce or retirement. Raymond James, Fulham start the process with a free initial consultation so that all parties can get to know each other and make sure they are the right fit. Dasha continues “personal finances are, by their very nature, personal. That’s why it is important to find a wealth manager with whom you are comfortable. Every client is different so we create a plan and investment strategy that is individual to them”.
Max picks up the conversation, “when helping people with their finances, there are three main things that we can do. Cash flow planning to see whether you are on track to meet your goals or if any adjustments need to be made. Our bread and butter is investment management. If cash flow planning is the architect’s drawing, then investment management is the building. This is where we carefully select and align investments with a client’s plan putting them in the best position to achieve their goals. Finally, we can introduce financial planning when considering more complex issues such as inheritance tax and estate planning”.
